The Path to Equanimity (Originally written on Monday, October 11th, 2021)

"I urge each one of you to herald this next chapter of your Odyssey with a view to holistic health." —Sanders Maurice Foulke III, AAS

I urge each one of you to herald this next chapter of your Odyssey with a view to holistic health. Mental health awareness is a progressive endeavor. We must allow ourselves the time, capacity, and willingness to cultivate an introspective awareness of our mental blocks. Simultaneously, we must allow this progressively developing cognizance to incite a subsequent course of action. Without action, our planned, concrete efforts, petitions, prayers, and established support network (s) will lack the synergistic efficacy they would possess in contiguous alignment.

Contrary to misinformative propaganda, there exists no weakness in sentiment. Moreover, no folly abides in a soul teeming with self-awareness. That is why each one of us need not be ashamed to administer self-care, to seek therapy, & to listen to our bodies, minds, spirits, and hearts. The body, heart, mind, and spirit are intertwined; therefore, our efforts to enlighten ourselves, actively seek wellness, and work in harmony with a commitment to our health objectives will only fortify each.

"No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel."
—Demi Lovato

How should you view your efforts to seek a diagnosis, healing, and treatment? Your establishment of this objective is demonstrative of authentic strength, fortitude, and willpower. There is no need to mistakenly label yourself as enfeebled, stymied by, or in the process of seeking treatment. Why? Your health is an appreciating asset, one of the most sterling procurements in which you could invest.

A commitment to your personal wellness will certainly augment, will bolster your contribution (s) to society. I can affirm this postulation with indefatigable clarity. Since this is the case, please let the advent & passing of Mental Health Day 2021 reinforce your lifelong holistic health resolutions. Ever onward, comrades & comradettes. —Se' lah.

"Each one of us has lived through some devastation, some loneliness, some weather superstorm or spiritual superstorm, when we look at each other we must say, I understand. I understand how you feel because I have been there myself. We must support each other and empathize with each other because each of us is more alike than we are unalike."
